Mail Policies

Simpson County Detention Center does not permit inmate to inmate correspondence.

All legal mail will be opened before the resident and inspected for contraband.

Money orders for commissary may be mailed in a separate envelope and clearly marked as commissary.

Legal mail and Commissary deposits should be clearly marked and mailed to Simpson County Jail, 217 E Kentucky St., Franklin KY 42134.

Non- Legal Mail should be addressed as follows:
